Home Improvement Updates

We have now been in Japan 2 years, aside from my 3 months back home this winter. Coming back this March was all about expansion. Cleaning and claiming. My husband and I will manage this property. Our children will grow up on this land and we will learn to farm properly. My husband will create his dream restaurant. And I am never to return to a normal job ever again.

So I have pretty much been under this house, cleaning, organizing and sprucing. Here is a quick rundown.

Found this old sewing machine and paid ¥2500 to have it cleaned up for use. Thank Goodness. It is the best and in excellent condition. I am hemming curtains and using it weekly.

We have our new washing machine so video #3 coming soon.

I planted a few flowers out front.

We are creating an office area for my husband.

My brother-in-law is building a new house on the rice field we once ate from.

We have a new bathtub.

I am so grateful for all that we are experiencing. This house/land will give us the freedom we desire. The next trip for me is to Italy. But I gotta get to a point where my kids are out of diapers. Had enough of that!

So random posts…I am busy you see. There is so much more to manifest in this great universe!

What are you wishing for your life? What are you manifesting?

Enjoyable reading blog. Different lifestlying here living as a local not in the city ne? More so being from NY as you are, i think. If you had a like button i would click it, and not leave an unimportant post like this. However it is nice to know someone is reading, ne! So this is my comment. Hang in there and keep on being grateful.
    Mata ne.

I know it was hard these past 2 years but it sounds like you have a bright future there.

I’ve been following your blog for a while now and I just have t say I adore you and your husbands marriage, its a very unique and rare one that should happen more often. I use to think that this wasn’t possible and was beginning to lose hope but when I look at you two, it gives me hope again, and it makes me happy. 😀

I wish you and your family nothing but happiness and good fortune. To answer your two questions I am wishing for something similar to what you have. A family with a good husband and some kids especially since I come from a dysfunctional one (it’s a long story). Right now I’m just trying to establish my future. It’s hard but I know I’ll come out on top in the end.
