Baby is not scared to drive, but I am!

As I take steps to get my life in order here in Japan, I feel like I am moving at a snail’s pace. Meanwhile the days are passing by. Since I am terrified to drive, I rely on my husband to take me most places. Thank goodness there are a few shops nearby that I can walk to. My favorite, ‘The Dollar Store” aka “HyakuEn”.What’s frustrating me most is not having my own computer to do my YouTube videos and communicate with my friends back in the U.S.

I guess they will all come in time.

Good things are happening, just slowly. Today My Baby made his first PeePee in the potty. I was so glad! I have also gotten back into my studies. I am reviewing my part I book of ‘Japanese for Busy people’. I am excited about remembering all of this all over again and being able to use it fluently. It is kinda embarrasing not being able to put together a complex sentence after 2 years of study, but I have to remember that I am also dealing with; 1. a new move, 2. a semi-new marriage, 3. being a new mom as well.

I have managed to get together a daily schedule which should help move things along. I am dedicating my weekends to doing my YouTube videos. I am going to try and crank out like 3 of them. It makes me laugh to think of it, but I can dream.

The set of videos I plan to film this weekend are still up in the air, but since most people who view them are in the states, I am a day ahead and being a day ahead somewhere should make me happy. It’s like ‘Back to the Future’ and coffee is my JIGGAWATT!

Be Well until my next post.

  1. I guess being in another country is not the same as being in another state. You have a big adjustment to make, but I know that you are up for the challenge.

    Look at my woogie driving.
