Baby is now 1 year 2 months old. I am so excited about his development. He is wearing me out but I am having a good time listening to the next words he will utter. I thought that it would take him a while to become bilingual, but he is already repeating words in Japanese and English. Basically it seems that he is choosing the easier word from the two languages.
Right now it seems his favorite word is bye bye as he slides open the front door and tries to run out of the house.
Here is a list of what we have heard him say in no particular order:
- inai inai ba!= the equivalent of peek a boo in English
- chodai=give it to me
- bye bye
- ice
- kampai= the equivalent of cheers
- baba=baby talk for grandmother
- jiji=baby talk for grandfather
- mama
- dada
- atsui=hot
- bubu=the equivalent of beep beep car sound
- poopoo
I’ve watched a few of your videos on Youtube, and I’m sorry, but you are tacky, uninteresting, and you seem desperately bored out there in the boondocks of Japan. It seems that all you do is dabble around all day in those Japanese people’s house, going through their old junk and cleaning up for them. No wonder your hands look so bad! And those wigs that you wear! Oh my gosh! They make you look really old and haggard. You need to get a life. Stop assuming that people find you interesting just because you’re black and married to a Japanese man. That’s no big whoop.
Thanks for your comment and Thank You for your video views. They make me rich. Be well and keep watching!
Hi Tara,
I think your blog is great and your baby is really cute too!
I’ve only watched a few of your videos and I’m they’ll be
great finds for people who want to move to Japan.
I love your positivity regarding the other comment on this
post. I actually found your blog when I was looking for Black
women married to Asian men. My husband is Korean and
we have a little boy as well and we live in Korea
Also, congrats on your new baby!
