Best DIY Dollar Tree Easter Basket Ideas
This post will give you some ideas and tips on how to DIY an Easter Basket with Dollar Tree items.
We all know Dollar Tree has some amazing items. What we don’t really discuss is how to get the best items Dollar Tree has to offer. I want to share those tips first so we have a good footing on how to get the most for our money.
First, you want to see how many Dollar Trees there are near you. Take a look at Google Maps or Waze.
The next step is to see which one is the biggest. The more space they have chances are they are going to carry more party and seasonal merchandise.
The third step is to take time to visit each of them. Start with the largest one and work back. Take a survey of the craft section as well as seasonal items.
Seasonal items will always be out 2 months before the holiday. One month before the holiday everything will be out and there should be no more shipments for that holiday. In this case, no more Dollar Tree Easter items should be coming at the time of this post.
Once you have found the best Dollar Tree in your area and have determined when all of their seasonal items hit the floor you are just about ready to shop!
Finally, you want to connect with the manager. I promise this is not a Karen moment. You can order items to the store for pick up in bulk and if there is an item that you think will do well in your store and need regularly ask the manager if they can order it.
If this is a large store or a well performing store they will certainly order your requested item to carry in store.
Keep in mind I am sharing this because I have done it. Give it a try!
Also keep in mind that you can order in bulk online. You may not need to buy more than a few pieces for your DIY Dollar Tree Easter Baskets but for donations, religious events, school, and parties. Dollar Tree is a great option.
Now on to choosing and filling your basket
Of course I want you to choose the basket that you like but there are some things I want you to consider so that you can get the most for your money.
As plastic basket can be used to store things and can be used at the beach.
A straw or wood basket will allow you to create a more holistic environment and is good for children who have reactions to synthetic materials.
Scrapping the basket all together and going for some ideas seen on Pinterest like an umbrella, hat or a chair also works.
