It’s New Year’s Eve and you’re pregnant.
What do you do when everyone is drinking and partying the night away?
This post will suggest 5 ways to enjoy New Year’s Eve when you’re pregnant.
Here are some suggestions while you are waiting for your bundle of joy.
Suggestion #1
Probably the most obvious suggestion goes first. Get sparkling cider!
In a champagne glass you won’t notice the difference visually.
You can toast the night away with all of your other friends. Attend your party events as usual with flat shoes in tow.
They even have the little individuals of sparkling cider for you to take with you just in case the venue does not have alcohol free beverages.
Suggestion #2
Have a vision board party.
This is my favorite suggestion if you are not going out.
If you are having a tough pregnancy or close to time you will probably be home. Grab some old magazines and some clip art from Etsy.
Create the life of your dreams on paper with some friends. Even on a Zoom call vision board party is a great vibe.
Suggestion #3
Have a photoshoot.
This is the perfect time to document life before baby.
Treat yourself to some great New Year’s decorations.
A sparkly backdrop and a lovely outfit can make the night amazing.
Some mocktails and light horderves will make the night a local celebrity event.
Suggestion #4
Have a night of faith.
If you have a religion that you follow or even a faith that you are curious about make a night of it!
Find a local place for Mass or Temple that is open for service.
It can be a calming and peaceful way to ring in the new year.
Suggestion #5
Conclusion
Things may be different this year but they don’t have to be less fun.
These 5 suggestions may be new to you but worth a try if you are looking for ways to ring in the New Year.
Pregnancy is a beautiful time. Focus on yourself and baby for the happiest New Year ever!
